eDiscovery is a critical yet sometimes daunting aspect when preparing for litigation. The sheer volume and complexity of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) can feel overwhelming for firms that don’t have an in-house litigation support or eDiscovery team, leading to escalating costs for their clients.

Information Governance (InfoGov) is a tech-era update of the old corporate term, "document retention policies," so I'll use both terms below. It's not great cocktail party conversation (remember cocktail parties?!) but it's crucially important - as a part of the eDiscovery process and as a part of normal business operations.
